Established in 2021 alongside the wider club, the Loughborough Lions U15 Reds have grown into a strong, disciplined, and ambitious squad competing in Division 5. The team is led by manager Rob Preston, who has been involved since the beginning bringing experience, continued structure, and a positive learning environment to the group. Supporting him are assistant coaches JJ Mitchell, Sonny Brown (whose son Callum plays in the squad), and Jamie Hollingworth (parent of Jaxon). Together, they form a well-balanced coaching team that combines technical knowledge with a strong focus on teamwork, progression, and player welfare.

Since their formation, the U15 Reds have built an impressive track record, achieving three consecutive promotions and securing the league title last season—a testament to everyone's hard work, consistency, and commitment across multiple seasons. Now boasting a squad of 15 talented players, the team continues to develop a competitive edge while maintaining the values that have shaped their journey so far.

The Reds train twice a week, on Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings, providing players with a structured training programme with qualified coaches who support both individual improvement and collective performance. The team is proudly backed by sponsors Weatherwise, Heaton Planning, and HC One, whose ongoing support helps ensure the squad has everything they need to compete at their best, so a big thank you to them.

As the team looks to strengthen further, the U15 Reds are currently seeking a defender and a centre forward who can add quality, commitment, and the right attitude to the group.
