Formed in 2021, the Yellows U11s have steadily grown into a committed and competitive squad within the Leicestershire Junior Football League – Brown Division. Led by manager Ash Wright, whose son Arthur proudly features in the team, the Yellows are supported by assistant coach Chris Burton whose son Harrison is also within the squad. Together, the coaching team have created an environment built on development, teamwork, confidence, a genuine love for the game and most of all FUN.

Since their early grassroots beginnings, the Yellows have shown year-on-year improvement, building resilience, strong technical ability, and a clear identity in how they play. One of the team’s standout moments came during the 2025 Lions Tournament, where they were crowned Europa Winners—an achievement that reflects the hard work, dedication, and progression of the entire squad. The team now boasts 12 talented players, with hopes of adding a dedicated goalkeeper in the coming weeks as the squad continues to strengthen.

The Yellows train every Wednesday at Charnwood College, with matches on Sundays, and all games are filmed, helping capture memories for families while also supporting coach analysis and player development. We are still on the look out for a team sponsor, so if you would like to help the team continue to build both on and off the pitch whilst supporting a local junior football team and getting some great exposure around the county.
