Formed in 2023 and currently in their third season together, the Loughborough Lions U12 Reds are an exciting and ambitious team competing in the Leicestershire Junior Football Leagues. The squad is built on a solid foundation emphasising development, teamwork, passion for the game, and FUN.

The team is managed by Dominik Rosolek, who has been coaching for over five years and proudly has a son within the squad. Dominik is supported by assistant coaches Carl Smith whose son is also part of the team and Mason Weston-Hodges, a dedicated 15-year-old whose brother plays in the squad (showing its never too young to get in to coaching).

Since the team's formation, the U12 Reds have shown incredible commitment and progress. They currently compete in Division 6 of the league, and their hard work has already resulted in notable successes, having been the Blue League cup winners in the 24/25 season and runners up in the Trophy group in the same season.

We are proud to be supported by our generous sponsors, which helps provide some fantastic kit and equipment for all our players. Our main sponsor Quercia, has provided the team with a full suite of kit, including home, away, and training kits, as well as hoodies and winter coats (huge thanks). We'd also like to thank Hastings for their support, providing the team with new boot bags.

The squad train every Tuesday from 17:30 to 19:00, with all sessions led by qualified coaches, ensuring a safe, structured, and enjoyable football experience that focuses on continuous player improvement. At present currently have a dedicated squad of 13 players and a fantastic group of supportive (and very passionate) parents and at this time is not recruiting, but why not follow the Loughborough Lions Facebook page where if there are any changes, all posts will be advertised on the page.
